PRINTED PAINTING PHOTO EFFECT

I tried to make a picture as in a story books. It is such a… what should I call it… such a printed painting, I think. :D I’m sorry if I’m mistaken. I don’t know what is that actually called in design. :) I used two pictures, a ranch and a youngman in cowboy costume. Do you wanna try? Just follow these steps.

1. Open your Adobe Photoshop.
2. Open your first picture. The ranch.

3. Look at your Layer. Right click the picture, then choose Duplicate Layer.
4. Choose Image from Menu Toolbar. Choose Auto Color, then Auto Contrast. Those will make the picture more contrast.
5. Choose Filter from Menu Toolbar. Choose Brush Strokes, then choose Accented Edges. Edit the setting; Edge Width: 1, Edge Brightness: 17, Smoothness: 1.
6. Finish editing the ranch, now open your second picture, the youngman.

7. Do the 3rd step until the 5th step.
8. Select the picture that you want to copy to the first picture, the ranch. You may use the Magic Wand Tool (W) or Lasso Tool (L) from your Tool Box.
9. Choose Edit from Menu Toolbar, then choose Copy (Ctrl+C).
10. Activate the first picture, then choose Paste (Ctrl+V) from Menu Toolbar.
